Digital Marketing Assistant works closely with the supervisor, assists with all stages of digital marketing campaigns (email marketing, ad campaigns, social media), e-commerce, and market research, oversees social media channels, and collaborates with the team on various projects. In this collaborative, entry-level role, you will get a chance to learn important skills and gain professional experience. Our ideal intern candidate has a fundamental understanding of digital marketing best practices, graphic design abilities, web development experience, and strong communication skills. Applicants should be current students in a BA (BS) or MA (MS) degree program. We host international students (J-1 visa, 6-month duration) through such programs as CIEE and similar ones.

 

Responsibilities

● Assist with social media campaigns

● Assist with email campaigns

● Assist with web development projects

● Produce and proofread website content

● Collect and report data from marketing campaigns

● Manage and update the company database

● Design and produce sales materials

● Complete other administrative tasks as needed 

 

Qualifications

● Current enrollment in a BA (BS) or MA (MS) degree program

● Prior internship experience a plus but not required

● Experience using Adobe Photoshop and other content creation tools (Canva, Picsart, etc)

● Computer skills

● Strong verbal and written communication skills

● Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software

● Ability to quickly learn and process information

● Organization and time management skills

● Understanding of different marketing techniques

● Passion for the digital marketing industry and its best practices
